I like my friends going abroad bringing us the world via web blogs in our warm living rooms. Thus we can stay at home, spare money, don’t have to expose ourselves to injection orgies, and we don’t run risks of travelling – perfect for us couch trotters.

Asking globetrotters for their motivation for their trips, two different motivations were identified: Wandering the world or just to be away from here – starting a self finding mission. Guess - which one is the most mentioned. When you are dangling through some shops looking for some farewell gifts for guys going for a world trip take the book “Weiß” (engl. White) from Hans Platzgumer into consideration, but be prepared for the question “What do you want to say with that?”.
